Salzer Electronics Ltd has informed BSE that the shareholders of the Company at its Court Convened Meeting held on July 18, 2009, have approved the Scheme or Amalgamation / Merger of Salzer Cables Ltd with the Salzer Electronics Ltd ('the Company'), subject to the sanction of the Scheme by the Honourable High Court of Judicature at Madras. To take on record the order of the Honourable High Court, Chennai, sanctioning the scheme of amalgamation / merger of Salzer Cables Ltd with Salzer Electronics Ltd and its implementation. 2. To fix the record date to ascertain and decide the eligible share holders of the transferor company - Salzer Cables Ltd for issue of the equity shares of the transferee company - Salzer Electronics Ltd in accordance with the scheme of amalgamation / merger and other related post merger issues.
