United Spirits Limited has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 08, 2014 inter alia has (1) Approval to the amalgamation of Term Distilleries Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary with the Company; (2) Approval to the amalgamation of SW Finance Co. Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary with the Company; (3) Proposal to Initiate a process to explore potential sale of Whyte and Mackay Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
