Approved the merger of Reliance Salgaocar Power Co Ltd an unlisted company with BSES Ltd subject to necessary approvals. Bses Ltd has informed the Exchange that at its meeting held on October 15, 2003 the Board of Directors have considered the proposal for the merger of Reliance Salgaocar Power Company Ltd (RSPCL), an unlisted company, with BSES Ltd (BSES), as per the Scheme of Arrangement under Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956 subject to necessary approvals and sanctions of the High Court. (As per NSE Bulletin dated 15/10/2003) BSES Ltd has informed the Exchange that pursuant to the orders dated December 18, 2003 passed by the Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh and High Court of Bombay, Panaji Bench respectively, BSES Andhra Power Limited and Reliance Salgaocar Power Company Limited stand amalgamated with BSES Limited.
