| Herbertsons open offer pricing revised
Now raised to Rs 216.50 per share
McDowell & Company and Phipson Distillery (acquirers) and United Breweries
Holdings (persons acting in concert - PAC) have revised the pricing of the
open offer made to the shareholders of Herbertsons on 10 September 2003 to
Rs 216.50.
The acquirers have offered to purchase up to 43,00,000 fully paid-up equity
shares of Rs 10 each of Herbertsons, representing 45.2% of the outstanding
equity capital of the target company.
The total financial resources for this counter offer, assuming full
acceptance, will be Rs 93,09,50,000.
