Mid-Day Multimedia Limited has informed the Exchange that Clear Channel International and Mid Day Multimedia Ltd, one of India's leading media companies, are merging their operations of their outdoor signage business in India. Mid Day Outdoor is currently one of the largest outdoor player specializing in street furniture. Clear Channel has a strong outdoor presence in Delhi and Bangalore; this will compliment Mid-day's coverage in Mumbai and Madras. The merger of operations will enable a truly National outdoor play in India. Mid-day will bring local knowledge, experience and relationships, whilst Clear Channel will provide the international expertise to take the Indian Outdoor market to a higher level of sophistication. Both sales and operations teams will be merged into a single unit to manage the outdoor assets of both companies, which should lead to higher revenues and lower operational costs.
