Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 06, 2012, inter alia, have approved the Scheme of Amalgamation for the merger of LMW Machinery Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary company, with the Company subject to the approval of High Court of Judicature at Madras and such other approvals with effect from April 01, 2012. Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd has informed BSE that the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras vide order dated April 26, 2013 had approved the merger of LMW Machinery Limited (wholly owned subsidiary) with Lakshmi Machine Works Limited with effect from April 01, 2012.
