Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the empowered Committee of the Board of the Company was held on December 13, 2013 and the said Committee has approved the definitive agreement and entered into Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) for the sale of domestic formulation business to Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. In this regard, the Company has submitted to BSE a copy of Press Release dated December 13, 2013 titled 'Torrent to Acquire Indian Branded Formulations Business of Elder'. Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has on December 13, 2013 entered into a definitive agreement with Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited, Mumbai (Elder) for acquisition of identified Domestic Branded Formulation business of Elder. In this regard the Company has issued a copy of Press Release dated December 13, 2013 titled 'Torrent to Acquire Indian Branded Formulations Business of Elder'.
